We’re Not Your Typical Yacht Club!
We are all about boating, but you don't need a boat or experience to join us. We love visitors and will welcome you. Drop by a meeting  and you’re a member for that week, or sign up for a year.

Who Are We?
Seattle Singles Yacht Club (SSYC) is for single adults in the Greater Puget Sound area:

  • Boat owners looking for crew

  • Anyone wanting to crew on a boat, even if you are "boating challenged"

  • Social dancers – our dances are open to everyone, single or not

  • You, if you want to socialize and meet new friends.

Feel the Love
SSYC is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization for sharing the love of boating. We’re a great place to meet people and enjoy Seattle, on the water and off. There’s a dance after at least one of our Monday meetings every month, an overnight boat trip every month, and social events nearly every day of the week. We also produce an annual sailing race and auction for charity.

Check Us Out
SSYC meets most Monday evenings to have fun, organize boating trips, and plan other events. We always do our best to make your first visit fun and comfortable. The meetings on the second Monday of the month are followed by a dance.
